Description Cased .32 Rimfire (Obsolete Calibre) WHITNEYVILLE ARMOURY 5-shot revolver, Circa 1875. Hexagonal barrel stamped on the top “WHITNEYVILLE ARMOURY CT U.S.A. PAT. MAY 23 1871”. Steel barrel and cylinder retaining approx. 80% of their original chrome finish, the brass frame has lost much of the chrome finish with about 50-60% remaining. The two-piece dark brown wooden grips complete and in good condition. The action is crisp and working well. The wooden box is probably of later construction to house this revolver. The pistol with some knocks and age wear commensurate with age and in good overall condition.
