Provenance his identical full size entitlement was sold via spink and sons these are his miniatures and belt buckle . Alexander Donald charters pond was born 5th September 1858. He was commissioned 2nd Lieutenant I the 100th foot ( leinster regiment) , November 1879. Promoted to Lieutenant February 1891 and transferred to Bengal staff corp November 1884. He joined the 5th bengal infantry as a Wing officer in February 1885 . Attached to the Burma police in Jan 1890 he became assistant commandant and 2nd I command of the Military Police battalion at ye-u at thar point . Later served on North West Frontier as a double company commander of 5th bengal infantry in 1899. He was later promoted to Major then Lieutenant Colonel in 1907 before retirement same year .
