A traditional Spring Reverb utilizes a pickup, very simular to the one in an electric guitar, to pick up the movement of the mechanical spring. This 60 years old technology was no option for Gamechanger Audio. So they use a series of infrared sensors to pick up the tiniest movements of the spring. This results in an incredibly overtone rich and exciting, never before heard, spring-reverb-tone.
