Locks and Limits – Provides control of the weld parameter ranges minimizing deviations from the welding procedure specifications (WPS). QuietPulse™  – Activated by changing the waveshape for DC pulse welding, creating a slower, more fluid transition between the background and peak amperage to create the least possible audible noise. MIG – CV output of the power source gives this unit MIG process capabilities when paired with an ArcReach® 8 or 12 (or other voltage-sensing feeder). Fan-On-Demand™ power source cooling system operates only when needed, reducing noise, energy of contaminants pulled though the machine. Blue Lightning™ – High-frequency (HF) arc starter for non-contact arc initiation. Provides more consistent arc starts and greater reliability compared to traditional HF arc starters. Cooler-On-Demand™ – Feature operates the auxiliary cooling system only when needed, reducing noise, energy use, and airborne contaminants pulled through the cooler.
