Description Luftwaffe Ground Combat Badge. (Est. 31/3/42) Given for close combat fighting with enemy forces. No discernable makers mark and the badge with age wear. The venders father took it off a German Fallschirmjäger at Monte Casino, Italy, but unfortunately in yanking it off the jacket, has broken the rear pin retaining clip in the process. In reasonable overall condition considering it age and combat zone useage.
