Description This sparkling shiraz is a soft, vibrant example of a unique Australian wine style. Ripe, soft and luxurious. A great sparkling wine, enjoy this red chilled, all year round. It’s super concentrated in colour, with dark fruit flavours of plums, blackcurrants and some spice. Beautifully balanced with soft wood & tannins. Works well with spicy foods, try Lebanese cuisine, a hearty beef chilli or a rib eye steak. Produced by Majella Wines, one of the most awarded small Australian wineries, family owned in the famous Coonawarra wine region which is home to some of Australia’s greatest wines and Majella are regarded as one of Australia’s best producers. This sparkling Shiraz reaching cult like status on both sides of the globe. Secondary fermentation is carried out in bottle on the lees for almost 12 months. The wine is then disgorged and a small amount of “liqueur” (sweetener) is added. In the true Aussie tradition they use some really fantastic vintage port. Recommended!
