Central Oregon Cascades – Three Sisters Wilderness

An excellent view of Mount Washington, Three Finger Jack, Mount Jefferson and Mount Hood, looking north from the Three Sisters Wilderness.  The Central Oregon Cascades is characterized by its rugged peaks, dense forests, alpine lakes, and volcanic landscapes. The range is part of the larger Cascade Range, which extends from British Columbia in Canada down through Washington, Oregon, and into Northern California.  One of the defining features of the Central Oregon Cascades is the presence of several prominent volcanic peaks, including the Three Sisters (North Sister, Middle Sister, and South Sister), Mount Washington, Mount Jefferson, Broken Top, Three Finger Jack and Mount Bachelor.
